In 1970s Los Angeles, the legendary ghost La Llorona is stalking the night — and the children. Ignoring the eerie warning of a troubled mother, a social worker and her own kids are drawn into a frightening supernatural realm.
For the release of THE CURSE OF LA LLORONA in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, we created a social media campaign for Warner Bros. on Facebook that targeted horror fans but also a broader group of film fans. The campaign included a fake news report about a mysterious ghost trying to attack Swiss children and infants. The very successful campaign hat a total reach of over 2 million, with almost 90,000 likes, comments and shares. It was one of the most successful campaigns on the Fan de Ciné fan page.
